Founder
Qituwra “Q” Anderson is an actor, writer, director, producer, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in film and television. She is the Founder and CEO of Phoenix Reign Entertainment, a U.S.-based independent production company focused on developing and producing compelling, diverse narratives across film and television, with a strong emphasis on drama and genre storytelling.
Through Phoenix Reign Entertainment, Anderson develops original projects including Antipathy, A Solid Citizen, and For the Record. Her work spans both scripted film and television, with a focus on building emotionally resonant, character-driven stories that center underrepresented voices and lived experiences.
Her projects have featured talent connected to networks such as Netflix, Starz, BET, and OWN, and have earned recognition at film festivals including the Black Film Festival Atlanta and the Belgrade International Film Festival.
Anderson brings a filmmaker’s lens shaped by performance, production, and storytelling strategy, with a focus on creating enduring intellectual property and building a long-term slate of film and television work through Phoenix Reign Entertainment.
Co-Founder
Zayn Anderson is a Co-Founder of Phoenix Reign Entertainment and serves as an Executive Producer on Antipathy. She is also a writer on A Solid Citizen, where she contributes to shaping original, character-driven stories rooted in history, identity, and lived experience.
At Phoenix Reign Entertainment, she plays an active role in both the creative and developmental sides of the company’s film and television slate, helping to guide story development, creative direction, and project execution across multiple projects. Her work is deeply connected to a commitment to telling authentic, culturally grounded stories that reflect nuance, complexity, and underrepresented perspectives.
As both a creative and emerging producer, Zayn is focused on helping build meaningful, enduring IP while supporting the long-term vision of Phoenix Reign Entertainment. She cares deeply about storytelling that reflects real people and real histories, and is dedicated to helping bring those stories to life on screen through collaboration, development, and creative leadership.
